The Cornerstone Conclave is the premiere Section-level event of the year, where all OA lodges from South Carolina and parts of North Carolina, and Georgia (see Section map) descend on a local camp to compete for Lodge of the Year, the Quest for the Golden Arrow, hold Section officer elections, and join in fellowship with other Arrowmen from around the Southeast. The Section's theme for this year's Conclave is "Realizing Our Dreams, Building for Tomorrow."
All dues-paid members of Muscogee Lodge may register to go, and delegate spots are open on a first-come-first-served basis; preference will be given to youth Arrowmen. Please note that the event fee is not covered by the Annual Pass, so all lodge delegates pay the same event fee.
Health Forms & Medical Concerns
If you did not turn in your BSA Health Form at the 2025 Spring Induction Weekend, please complete parts A and B, sign part A (these do NOT require a doctor’s signature, just parent/guardian), and send the signed forms to medical@muscogeelodge.org. This is a secure inbox with extremely limited access, so rest assured that your personal information will be safeguarded. Delegates who do not have a health form on file with the medical officer will not be allowed to attend Conclave, and their registration fee will be forfeited. Also, if you have significant health concerns or dietary restrictions, please send a note to the medical officer at the email address above, so we can prepare for the weekend.
It Costs
The fee for this year's E-7 Conclave will be $65 per delegate. This fee includes meals, delegate patch, camp usage fee, program, participation pin, BSA Insurance, and Muscogee delegate & trader patches, t-shirt and spirit items. As with all lodge events, financial assistance may be applied for while completing your registration.
To Bring
You should bring the same types of items that you would to any other OA Fellowship or campout. That said, you will want to bring a tent, or arrange to share a tent. No one over 17 may share a tent with anyone under 18 unless it is a parent/guardian and their child. Conclave is a uniformed event. Only bring BSA uniforms (including OA sash) and clothing except for any clothing that is directly associated with the delegation spirit theme. Please also bring a flashlight, water bottle, sleeping bag, pillow, rain gear, toiletries, towel, sunscreen, bug spray, and spending money. Be sure to check the weather leading up to the event for more up-to-date information to guide your packing decisions. Note that you will be dropping off your gear at a designated station by the parking lot for transportation to the campsite, so be sure it is as compact as possible.
To Do
There are many ways to participate at Conclave! There’s the Quest for the Golden Arrow, Ceremonies Evaluation, Training, Administrative and American Indian Activities. We will need competitors and judges for each of these events, so if you are interested please reach out at conclave@muscogeelodge.org so we can add you to our list!
The 2025 OA E-7 Cornerstone Conclave will be held April 25 - 27, 2025 at Robert E. Knox Scout Reservation in Lincolnton, GA.
Register
Dues-paid lodge members must register through the Section event page by January 31, 2025.
Departure
The delegation will depart from locations around the state on Friday, according to the timeframes decided by the location captain (see Transportation To/From Conclave, below).
Return
The Sunday Morning Chapel/Awards Ceremony should hopefully conclude by 11:00 AM, although this is not a certainty. We plan to arrive back in the assigned drop-off locations within approximately 2-3 hours after departure. Arrowmen will be asked to call the person who will pick them up once we depart camp and have a better prediction of arrival time (if they do not have a phone, they will be able to borrow one to make the call).
The address for the Robert E. Knox Scout Reservation is 1150 Fred R. Prater Pkwy, Lincolnton, GA 30817. Enter a starting address HERE to create a map to the camp.
Transportation To/From Conclave
Parking may be limited at camp. As such, we ask that any adult who is willing and able to drive youth to and from the event to please assist us. We will have several groups meeting in locations, below. There is a "captain" assigned to each location, so if you have a specific question for them, their name and number are provided below. That said, they'll reach out to you to share the meeting time/place for your respective locations.
Campsite Accommodations
Campsite accommodations invariably have limited space, so please plan to bring a tent or share one with someone else. Should cabins or tents be made available by the local lodge, we will not have enough room to fit everyone in those accommodations, so Be Prepared.
You may register only through the Section event registration page. Conclave memorabilia items may also be purchased as part of your registration. All pre-order merchandise orders must be placed by January 30, 2025. Delegate registration must be made by January 31, 2025 or whenever all delegate spaces are sold-out. **Please note** Any delegates who register after the registration deadline will not be guaranteed a spot in the delegation (or a ditty bag with spirit items). The lodge will ask for additional delegation spots, based on the number of Arrowmen on the waitlist.
Pre-Ordered Items & Patches for Sale
If you pre-order Conclave memorabilia (patches, mugs, etc.) there will be two primary opportunities to pick up your items. The first opportunity will be at Conclave, beginning Friday evening at the campsite, once everything has been received from the service lodge and divided up appropriately. You will also receive your ditty bag and delegate items at this time. The second opportunity will be at the Summer Fellowship held at Camp Barstow in July 2025. Please note that once you pick up your items, you assume full responsibility for anything lost, damaged, or stolen. There will also be a limited number of Conclave memorabilia available at the Conclave trading post. Historically, these sell out very quickly, so you are encouraged to make your purchases at your earliest opportunity.
Unable to Attend
If you find that you will not be able to attend Conclave, contact us at conclave@muscogeelodge.org. Although Conclave fees are non-refundable, we may be able to transfer your fee to another Arrowman who wishes to attend, thereby making a refund possible. Likewise, if you know of others wishing to attend Conclave, have them contact us at the same address, and they will be added to the delegation or placed on a waiting list in case cancellations occur (there are always a few).
