Muscogee Lodge will conduct its Summer Ordeal on 13-16 August 2020 at Camp Barstow. The Summer Ordeal begins Thursday night. After the Ordeal ceremony on Friday evening we will immediately flow into the Summer SUPER Fellowship.
Congratulations upon your election as a candidate for the Order of the Arrow. You can take great pride in your being selected by your fellow Scouts, but realize that you are now only a candidate for membership. A greater thrill awaits you when you become a member of the Order and are decorated with the Order of the Arrow sash. This happens when you have successfully completed the Ordeal.
Your next opportunity to participate in the Ordeal will be 13-16 August 2020 at Camp Barstow. To prepare for this event you should:
- Determine how you will get to and from camp. Plan to arrive at camp on Thursday evening between 6:00 and 7:00 pm. Dinner is NOT provided Thursday night, so eat before you arrive or bring a bag supper. (NOTE: the Summer SUPER Fellowship also begins on Thursday night)
- Register and pay $60.00 online HERE.
- Bring a current BSA Health and Medical Record (parts A & B) when you arrive at camp.
If you become ill just before the Ordeal, stay in bed. If you currently have any temporary physical or medical problem which could limit your participation, we strongly encourage you to wait until the problem passes. We will be happy to help you make alternative plans.
If you are unable to attend this Ordeal, there will be another opportunity in March 2021 as long as your election was conducted in/after March 2019. You will find an equipment list enclosed; please review it carefully. We look forward to your joining us in membership in the Order of the Arrow.
The Summer SUPER Fellowship begins with your Ordeal dinner on Friday night. So come prepared to have a great time in fellowship with Muscogee Lodge at the end of your Ordeal.

There will be a callout Thursday night, it is not a requirement to be called out to attend the ordeal, but if you would like to be called out, this will be your opportunity.
