Dixie Set-Up Weekend

All Muscogee Arrowmen coming to Dixie should make every reasonable effort to attend this important Set-Up Weekend.

When?  21-23 April.  You can check in Friday evening between 6 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Click HERE for a draft agenda for the weekend

Who should attend?  Every Muscogee Arrowmen that will be attending the 2017 Dixie Fellowship as a delegate or staff member should plan to attend the Set-up Weekend. This is important not only because of the help needed setting up the camp for Dixie but because we will be making final plans for all delegate and staff assignments for Dixie and orienting everyone on what will be expected at Dixie.

What to bring? Tent or hammock and other camping gear that you would bring to a fellowship. Work clothes and gloves.

When does it wrap up? Set-up weekend concludes Sunday morning after breakfast and chapel service (around 10 a.m.).

Is there a cost? Yes, there is a small fee of only $10 to cover the expenses for food and a patch (picture above). All meals on Saturday and Sunday breakfast will be provided. Arrowmen who give a full day of service on Saturday will also earn the opportunity to purchase ONE “2017 Dixie Service Lodge” Muscogee lodge flap! (pictured below)

Program Note . . . on Saturday evening of the Set-up Weekend we will have the final close-out round of the patch auction that began at the Winter Banquet, featuring many items from a donated collection!  All funds raised will go to camp improvements in preparation for Dixie and summer camp. As this is the conclusion of the liquidation of this collection, many items will be "set price" and some will be designated as "make an offer."  To date, more than $4,300 has been raised to help improve Camp Barstow!

(*Note that we anticipate having the actual Dixie Staff patches available on Set-up Weekend, so those present will be able to purchase their Staff Patch earned at the Set-up Weekend, and if you were at the February Work Weekend, you can purchase the Staff Patch earned at that event also!)
